Angel without a face,
you tease and taunt,
once step ahead of me,
all the while.
I thought I uncovered this mystery,
of who you might be,
but now I see I was wrong, you say.
Tricked though I be, this once again,
for a while I thought I found,
my true love, and my best friend,
to with eternity spend.
I know that in a time defined by fate,
you will reveal yourself to me,
and we will walk together by the mile,
til this journeys end.
