Surrounded

Sunlight peers between the cracks of the blinds,
it's ray caress the curves that are your body,

as my eyes feast upon your beauty once more,
before I rise to meet our day anew.

Many time throughout the night,
from first to last,
I woke and looked to you,
reached for you,
touched you, with eyes and hands,

just to reassure myself
that you were more that
just a perfect dream I dreamed.

And with those touches,
eyes and hands,

I find myself reminded of
the love we knew
before the sleep,
my heart still churning,

dreaming of loving you,
again, and again,
and yet again,
endlessly without end.

Now even when we are apart,
with your love, I am surrounded.

Do you feel it too?
