I was so attacted to you 
from our very first meeting
but you resisted all the while,
to ever let me get truly close.

I wanted too so desperately, 
but you always kept me 
an arms length away 
from deep into your heart.

I could see inside your door,
I could see behind the walls,
where never my feet 
would stand, I feared.

And now out of your life,
I find myself, 
if only for a life time.

And will I ever find myself?
But yes, I fear, 
without you once again.
