perfect circle

I walk and walk without end,
but it takes too long
to get to this nowhere,
where the pain might not be,

so I run and run,
faster and faster,
til I can breathe no more,

and I find the pain
I try to from run,
does keep right up with me,
for it lives so deep
inside my heart,
and has a strangle hold on me.

So I run in these endless circles,
and chase at my tail,
and bite it till it bleeds,
and I leave a trail of blood,

in this perfect circle,
that encircles me,
and traps me inside
this line I dare not cross.
