The taste of heaven that we shared, oh how glorious it was, and yet it was not unlike a double edged sword, cutting both ways. Knowing that you have so many of the qualities that I feel I must have, in my best friend, my lover, and my soul mate. Our nights, our days together now for ever lost, things now so missed.
This tiny taste of your love has only left me wanting, wanting so much more. When I looked into your eyes, I felt I could somehow see into your heart. Surely, when you looked into my eyes, you could see, that which I held for you in my heart, could you not?
I thank you for giving to me, that of yourself, which you did. I feel that what we shared was love. I hope that you feel the same way. Sex is a beautiful thing but it pales in comparison to love. Walking hand in hand, in a garden of roses with two love filled hearts, would be so much more satisfying to me that sex without love.
"Tell me how to win your Heart, because I haven't got a clue? Let me start by saying, I love you" is one of so many songs that I should sing to you.
"To dream the impossible dream", This is what I do. Some dreams are realized, some may never be. Who is to say what anyone's future might hold? I think that you know of my desire for you, but I know that some things are meant to be, and some things can never be. Life is so much a matter of timing and choices.
It seems one of the things that I have learned over the years is that when love knocks, if we are not able to answer the call, it often times passes us by.
If I must watch you pass me by, then I must, but I will not do so without a tear in my heart. My biggest fear is that we are some how much closer to being together, than we are aware of. So close, and still not making the connection, the world geting in our way, lost forever in time, this love that could have, should have been.
If this can never be, then so be it not, but you must know that it is something that I want very much. We would make such a wondrous partnership, you, and I. I have wanted many time in my life without receiving that which I desire, and I am accustom to disappointment in my life. Please understand that if we could never be more to one another than we are, it will just have to be enough.
Do not worry about me, for I will survive no matter what, and I will win this game of life in the end, one way or another.
So my one true match made in heaven go unanswered.
Lucky for me that I am one of:
