You did not cry out,
and call my name,
for you knew
I was with you,
just the same.
Deep inside your heart,
just as you are in mine.
You didn't want to let go,
and leave us all behind,
but your body, it was weak,
and you knew that it was time,
to go and be with my mother,
and with your mother too,
and my father and your husband,
and other loved ones,
you once knew.
They had been many times
to visit you,
for they could plainly see,
that they would guide your way,
to where you needed to be,
and you'd be blinded
by that bright white light,
that makes it so hard to see.
That light is the heavenly glow,
from the place you'll soon be,
as you left your worn out body,
and departed from earthly we,
Heaven Bound
