The day I lost her love
flashes before my eyes,
over and over and again,
for she wanted me to bow to her will,
but the rebel in me rebelled,
and it sent my soul strait to hell,
and I know I looked so ugly to her,
as were the actions of this fool,
that cost me my world and my all.
We walked out into the parking lot,
and I said,
“I can’t do this anymore, I hate it’,
and that is when she started to hate me.
And I didn’t realize it at the time,
but I fatally cut my very own throat,
and slowly bleed to death,
my payment for my mistakes.
I would do anything and everything,
that I could do to turn back the hands of time,
and live those moments once more,
but so differently this time.
But time only goes in one direction,
and our mistakes, we must live with,
and though she couldn’t forgive me,
I have to forgive myself,
somehow,
if I can ever find a way.
