A poet never takes a day off,
and I dare do not too,
for to profess my undying love,
is all I want to do,
I think of you in the fondest of ways,
day and night without end.
I dream of us again and again,
as your heart I do befriend,
and your soul mate do become,
for it was meant to be.
Yes, any fool could tell,
that this was meant to be.
They can see it from afar,
all those close to us,
and special in our lives.
It is obvious to me,
how about you?
Everyone else can plainly see,
and I’m sure that I do know,
your becoming someone to me,
that I never could let go,
and why would I ever want to,
for you were sent from far away,
just for me alone, and I for you.
That is surely plain to see,
in this love without end.
