The distance between
my minds eyes widens and blurs,
The distance between
my life and my heart grows.
The distance between
holding her warmth
and these cold empty arms
becomes insurmountable.
The distance between
tasting her fresh kiss,
and these lips neglected,
becomes unbearable.
I need to find a better
long distance plan,
in that I wish was local.
