You have hands,
and you have knees.

Come to me
on those hands
and those knees,

and confess of
your misdeeds
and
your mistakes
and
your regrets

and of the crimes
against a love so pure,

as you reach
your hand out
to me once more,

or turn, and walk away,
and leave me in the peace,
that surely I do deserve.

I gave to you my
each and every all,
everything I was,

my last drop of heart
and love,
and devotion,
an honesty.
in honor,
and trust
unconditional,

and I deserve
absolutely no less.

Own your mistakes,
openly, immediately
or the time will be too late.

The power of love,
there is none greater,

but that of the python
with it's constricting coil,

that squeezes the strongest of life,
of this world from hearts so true.
