happy bee

I gave a beggar
some money today,
as I strolled through
the park on my way.

He did beg and plead,
for he had a need,
and I know that he
could have been me,

for I have a need,
you see,
that has me begging,

for your love,
so strong and true.

I stoop so low on bended knee,
throwing away my dignity,
pleading for my due,
the love I earned from you.

Please give to me,
what I give to you,
and you will see,
it's all we need,
to happy be.
