fulfillment

Love still remains,
it can not be denied.

It cries out your name,

it cries out in pain,
from the betrayal,

left
forsakened,

left
forlorned.

Sold out so cheaply,
and for what,

it’s value,
diminished,
and degraded,
in your very eyes.

The eyes I looked into
in this love loved,
so deep and true.

It cries out in the loss,
of something thought
to be so true,
but by me alone,

as where I now be,
with not yee,

yet this love remains.

It cries out for it’s cheated chance,
once held right in hand,
now slapped to earth below,

and it’s desire to own fulfillment.
