When you watch love die,
before your eyes,

you have to be smart enough
to know,
that you've just got to let it go.

Neither one of us seemed to possess
this knowledge,
but deep inside our hearts.

The one thing I never wanted to do
was lose you,
though I know I already have.

This internet
and
your well wishing friend

have to our love, put an end,

and taken us to this place,

and this point of no return,

from which there is no escape,

in escaping the undeniable truth,

what we had died long ago,

killed by she, and he,
and you were there too,

but I was
not smart enough,
or brave enough,
or strong enough,

and I loved you
too much
to pull the plug.

I thought with enough time,
and effort,
and love,

I could breathe life
back into

this headless corpse,
that was once our love.

Too many work,
to end this love,
against my best of efforts,
as I fight, with all my might.

White flag in the air,
it's not that I don't care,
but I know I'll never win,
as long as your on
the other team.
